Today I’m having their signature treatment the Como Shambala massage. It is recommended you arrive at least 15min early so you can relax or enjoy the Jacuzzi or steam room. Therapist: “Good morning. Are you Mr. Clint?” Clint: “Yes.” I just finished my spa treatment and it was wonderful. Now we are going to go take a look at the yoga pavilion, which offers daily yoga and Pilates classes. Each have a private, screened in patio and en-suite. It is worth mentioning a small third bedroom with a single bed and bathroom, perfect for a child. This unit features a full kitchen, a spacious living area with ultra-comfortable furnishings, a high ceiling and a dining room. Just a short thirty-five minute boat ride from the main island of Providenciales is the exclusive private island of Parrot Cay. Here you will find tranquility, rejuvenation and unsurpassed luxury. Other amenities offered here are exercise room, business center with computers and pool table, lit tennis courts and WIFI in all the rooms. The infinity pool at Parrot Cay overlooking the ocean is the perfect place to relax and spend your day. Enjoy a drink at the Lotus pool bar or one of the private tiki huts. These tiki huts can also be set up for a private, romantic dinner. A continental breakfast buffet, as well as a variety of options from the menu or the Shambhala Spa menu are available. The Como Shambhala Spa menu consists of healthful cuisine including foods rich with organisms, vitamins and minerals. This healthy menu that contains raw food and predominantly vegetarian options is available in both restaurants and room service. Clint: “Thank you.” Right now we are at the Lotus poolside restaurant here is were lunch is served daily. For lunch I decided to start with the fish tacos and for my entree I am going to order from the spa menu. Clint: “I’ll have the red rice maki roll, avocado, marinated shiitake, asparagus and broccoli please.” For dinner the Lotus poolside restaurant focuses on south-east Asian inspired menus. This is enjoyed in a nice poolside setting. The Terrace offers Italian inspired Mediterranean cuisine. Clint: “Thank you.” Parrot Cay is know for the Como Shambhala Retreat where the mind, body and spirit are nurtured holistically. Our next tour is the island villa, one of the newer villas at Parrot Cay. Let’s go take a look. The island villa has everything you could possibly imagine. This three thousand six hundred and eighty square foot house is situated on an acre and a half of its own land, has lots of living space and its own private butler. The main living space is bright and spacious with high ceiling, ultra-comfortable furnishings and a large dining room table. All of the bedrooms are en-suite, but two of the three bedrooms as master suites. There is also a full gourmet kitchen and a study. The infinity pool and beach – WOW – what more can I say? You can enjoy this gorgeous setting from here, here, here and here. I think I’m going to spend a little bit more time here.
