The next stop on the Caribbean Clint tour is the Anacaona boutique hotel. This charming escape has 27 rooms, and is located just a short stroll from beautiful Meads Bay beach. It really is an easy stroll down to the beach, and once you’re here you can enjoy a cool tropical drink from D’ Sand Pit. Being on 3 and a half acres, even when the resort is full it is always peaceful and quiet. Right behind the main buildings you’ll find the vegetable gardens, and the fruit tree orchard, where you’ll find papaya’s, coconuts, pomegranates, and soursops growing. The Firefly restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Today for lunch i’m having chef Paul’s famous tomato pie and the sandy island lobster sandwich in this quiet setting overlooking one of the pools.
